FAQ
Tips to get
amazing photos on
the big day.
-
Choose a space that reflects your personality: a beautiful BNB with character or a nice hotel room with decoration that speaks to you.
It's BETTER if there is a well-lit space or if it has windows.
Keep the space tidy and clutter-free: remove or hide your luggage, dirty clothes, unhung clothes, or shoe clutter.
Avoid having too many people, the best photo opportunities are often obtained in special quiet moments.
Keep at hand the accessories you would like us to photograph: shoes, special perfume, wedding vows…etc.
Consider a brief session with your partner before starting to prepare for the day. (eg finalising to handwrite your vows, enjoying a cup of coffee together, or simply spending some quiet time in bed. )
These special moments can set a lovely tone for the start of your special day, and Maria and I love to capture them.
-
Avoid wearing logos, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and bulky pijamas to ensure a polished and stylish look.
Select outfits that make you feel comfortable and look nice. (e.g., a linen robe.)
Inspire yourself with some beautiful "loungewear" or "at-home chic attire”.
Consider using neutral or light colours and nice fabrics like linen or cotton.
Keep in mind the location and vibe of the shoot when choosing these clothes.
-
Choose a location that holds sentimental value or resonates with your story.
Make sure this spot has good natural light and is clean, preferably clutter-free.
Select a location that allows for a private and intimate first look.

FAQ
How long do portraits take?
It depends on how much time you want to give us; we can get amazing photos in 15 minutes right after the ceremony, and then we steal you away again before sunset for another 15 minutes in total. We know you want to spend your time with your friends and family.
Do you shoot group pictures?
Sure! Family and wedding party portraits are very important to us too.One of the most important wedding moments to capture. We advise you to share a list of important people with us and to assign a photo wrangler in order to make sure we have you covered.

Can I send you some inspiration photos for you to take?
Of course, we love to know your inspiration; feel free to share it with us by email or link to a Pinterest moodboard.
At what time should we be ready?
Usually we like to be there earlier than asked, but calculate 1 hour before your getting ready starts.
On the wedding day, should we provide food for you?
Yes, we require a warm meal right when everyone else is having theirs. This way, we can eat and still be ready to snap pictures during speeches, the first dance, and whatever else goes down.
