AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE

La Pause Marrakesh
Wedding and Elopement Photography Service.

Are you searching for a Wedding or Event photographer in La Pause Marrakesh?

I have been covering over 170 Weddings since July 2014, I can say that I am full of advice and help for your big day.

My couples are similar and so different at the same time. I would say that they have certain similar characteristics, they prefer to spend time with their families and friends rather than spending an hour taking the couple photos, they are usually shy, they don’t feel at ease to be the center of the attention, they have a certain knowledge about art, sometimes photography and painting.

Do you want to have an intimate wedding in La Pause Marrakesh that reflects your journey as a couple, your passions, and your spirit of adventure?

This is elopement photography for couples who want to ignore tradition and get married in a way that feels authentic to them. As a photographer, my purpose is to discreetly capture the story of your day in an honest and heartfelt way, without posing or intruding. I will record every aspect, from the raw emotions and poignant moments as they unfold, to the details you won’t want to forget.

I care deeply about creating meaningful connections with every couple who invites me to be a part of their journey. My approach is to innovate, not to conform to conventions. Your elopement experience should be as personal, genuine, and unique as you are.

Emotional Photographer documenting emotional Weddings.

Since July 2014, I document your intimate wedding, your Minimony, Sequel Wedding, Micro wedding or Adventurous Elopement, proposal, and engagement and I have seen a lot of love stories, full of joy and emotions. It has a lot of different names but only the story matters. I am moved by telling the story of your day in the most natural and genuine way possible. No need to spend one hour behind the church with me to take the couple photographs, I will always value letting you spend time with family and friends. This is your day, not mine.

Most of my couples define themselves as shy in front of the camera, I believe simply they don’t know how easy it is to spend a few simple moments with their partner in front of my camera. I will follow you from getting ready to the dance floor in the most natural way possible. To deliver a poetic and unique vision of the most important day of your life.
I have a lot of experience and expertise in traveling around Europe mostly. For the last 6 years, I have covered most of my weddings abroad and overseas.

I believe I can help you with my experience and advice for a perfect wedding day. I have prepared some articles to help you to find the right place to get married or to be inspired in some places like Spain, The Balearic Islands such as Ibiza, Mallorca,… Mexico, Morocco and of course Portugal. Testimonials

“We knew that we had found someone very special when we chose Eric to capture our wedding(s). We had planned a special day in Scotland, however had also planned a smaller family celebration in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia the following weekend. It was important for us to have a consistent narrator and someone who was able to capture the vibrance of the days, in both countries in the same way, yet highlight the contrasting environments beautifully, and Eric was the only person for that role! It was a role that we didn’t even know if someone would be willing or able to do, and we could not believe it when he said that he would travel the world to help us document this time in our lives! The shots that he captured tell the story of the two days so beautifully. The life, the joy, the finer details, the brilliant conversations that we forgot we had, the roaring laughter, and the more sentimental moments. The photos gave us everything that we could have hoped for from that special time and more. A truly remarkable talent, with a way of making you feel completely at ease, and seamlessly capturing everything without us even realizing that he was. We cannot thank him enough for all that he did for us, we are forever grateful.” F&D

"From the moment we discovered Eric-René’s photography and met up with him to discuss capturing our wedding, it was meant to be. His work resonated with us deeply, particularly his bohemian and natural feel, emotive and poetic. We wanted raw, truthful storytelling and that’s exactly what he delivered. We were blown away by the magic he brought to our day and the quality of his artistry that followed. He is a joy to work with, and melted into the proceedings so you weren’t even aware that he was shooting, he made us feel so comfortable and everything simply flowed. Eric-René is a wonderful person as well as a talented photographer and has personally brought me a lot of inspiration through his warmth, kindness, and passion to empower others through creativity and connection. Thank you Eric-Rene, from the bottom of our hearts." H&M

“Thank you so much for being the best photographer and friend, so happy how the photographs turned out to be the most unique and beautiful testimony. We are blown away by the narrative, and many weeks after it feels like we never left the party. We could not have asked for a better experience” G&L

A bit of History about La Pause Marrakesh.

The Agafay desert is a desert which is located about thirty kilometers from the red city of Marrakech, on the first heights of the High Atlas massif in Morocco. It is a reg that spans several hundred hectares1,2. It is covered with stones and rockeries in a hilly environment made up of dunes with white and ocher tones.

Although the topography of Agafay resembles that of a typical desert, such as the Sahara, it is not a desert in the literal sense of the term, but rather a desert area of the reduced surface. Its proximity to the other city makes it a popular getaway with growing popularity.

The Agafay desert includes an oasis of about seven hectares, planted with eucalyptus, olive trees, and vines, nicknamed the enchanted oasis, which derives its vitality from a wadi located nearby.

The Agafay desert is easily accessible from Marrakech towards the small town of Tameslohte (municipality) via the provincial road P2014.Marrakesh (/məˈrækɛʃ/ or /ˌmærəˈkɛʃ/Arabic: مراكش‎, romanizedmurrākušBerber languages: ⴰⵎⵓⵔⴰⴽⵓⵛ, romanized: amurakuš) is the fourth largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco. It is the capital of the mid-southwestern region of Marrakesh-Safi. It is west of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Marrakesh is 580 km (360 mi) southwest of Tangier, 327 km (203 mi) southwest of the Moroccan capital of Rabat, 239 km (149 mi) south of Casablanca, and 246 km (153 mi) northeast of Agadir.

The region has been inhabited by Berber farmers since Neolithic times. The city was founded in 1070 by Emir Abu Bakr ibn Umar as the imperial capital of the Almoravid Empire. The city was one of Morocco's four imperial cities. In the 12th century, the Almoravids built many madrasas (Quranic schools) and mosques in Marrakesh that bear Andalusian influences. The red walls of the city, built by Ali ibn Yusuf in 1122–1123, and various buildings constructed in red sandstone during this period, have given the city the nickname of the "Red City" (المدينة الحمراء) or "Ochre City" (ville ocre). Marrakesh grew rapidly and established itself as a cultural, religious, and trading center for the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa. Jemaa el-Fnaa is the busiest square in Africa.

After a period of decline, the city was surpassed by Fez, but in the early 16th century, Marrakesh again became the capital of the kingdom. The city regained its preeminence under wealthy Saadian sultans Abdallah al-Ghalib and Ahmad al-Mansur, who embellished the city with sumptuous palaces such as the El Badi Palace (1578) and restored many ruined monuments. Beginning in the 17th century, the city became popular among Sufi pilgrims for its seven patron saints who are entombed here. In 1912 the French Protectorate in Morocco was established and T'hami El Glaoui became Pasha of Marrakesh and held this position nearly throughout the protectorate until the role was dissolved upon the independence of Morocco and the reestablishment of the monarchy in 1956. In 2009, Marrakesh mayor Fatima Zahra Mansouri became the second woman to be elected mayor in Morocco.

Marrakesh comprises an old fortified city packed with vendors and their stalls. This medina quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today it is one of the busiest cities in Africa and serves as a major economic center and tourist destination. Tourism is strongly advocated by the reigning Moroccan monarch, Mohammed VI, with the goal of doubling the number of tourists visiting Morocco to 20 million by 2020. Despite the economic recession, real estate and hotel development in Marrakesh have grown dramatically in the 21st century. Marrakesh is particularly popular with the French, and numerous French celebrities own property in the city. Marrakesh has the largest traditional market (souk) in Morocco, with some 18 souks selling wares ranging from traditional Berber carpets to modern consumer electronics. Crafts employ a significant percentage of the population, who primarily sell their products to tourists.

Marrakesh is served by Ménara International Airport and by Marrakesh railway station which connects the city to Casablanca and northern Morocco. Marrakesh has several universities and schools, including Cadi Ayyad University. A number of Moroccan football clubs are here, including Najm de MarrakechKAC MarrakechMouloudia de Marrakech and Chez Ali Club de Marrakech. The Marrakesh Street Circuit hosts the World Touring Car ChampionshipAuto GP and FIA Formula Two Championship races.
