Kos Wedding and Elopement Photography Service.

Are you searching for a Wedding or Event photographer in Kos?

I have been covering over 170 Weddings since July 2014, I can say that I am full of advice and help for your big day.

My couples are similar and so different at the same time. I would say that they have certain similar characteristics, they prefer to spend time with their families and friends rather than spending an hour taking the couple photos, they are usually shy, they don’t feel at ease to be the center of the attention, they have a certain knowledge about art, sometimes photography and painting.

Do you want to have an intimate wedding in Kos that reflect your journey as a couple, your passions, and your spirit of adventure?

This is elopement photography for couples who want to ignore tradition and get married in a way that feels authentic to them. As a photographer, my purpose is to discreetly capture the story of your day in an honest and heartfelt way, without posing or intruding. I will record every aspect, from the raw emotions and poignant moments as they unfold, to the details you won’t want to forget.

I care deeply about creating meaningful connections with every couple who invites me to be a part of their journey. My approach is to innovate, not to conform to conventions. Your elopement experience should be as personal, genuine, and unique as you are.

Emotional Photographer documenting emotional Weddings.

Since July 2014, I document your intimate wedding, your Minimony, Sequel Wedding, Micro wedding or Adventurous Elopement, proposal, and engagement and I have seen a lot of love stories, full of joy and emotions. It has a lot of different names but only the story matters. I am moved by telling the story of your day in the most natural and genuine way possible. No need to spend one hour behind the church with me to take the couple photographs, I will always value to let you spend time with family and friends. This is your day, not mine.

Most of my couples define themselves as shy in front of the camera, I believe simply they don’t know how easy it is to spend a few simple moments with their partner in front of my camera. I will follow you from getting ready to the dance floor in the most natural way possible. To deliver a poetic and unique vision of the most important day of your life.
I have a lot of experience and expertise in traveling around Europe mostly. For the last 6 years, I have covered most of my weddings abroad and overseas.

A bit of History about Kos.

Kos or Cos (/kɒs, kɔːs/; Greek: Κως [kos]) is a Greek island, part of the Dodecanese island chain in the southeastern Aegean Sea. Kos is the third largest island of the Dodecanese by area, after Rhodes and Karpathos; it has a population of 33,388 (2011 census), making it the second most populous of the Dodecanese, after Rhodes. The island measures 40 by 8 kilometres (25 by 5 miles). Administratively, Kos constitutes a municipality within the Kos regional unit, which is part of the South Aegean region. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Kos Town.

Kos is in the Aegean Sea. Its coastline is 112 kilometres (70 miles) long and it extends from west to east.

The island has several promontories, some with names known in antiquity: Cape Skandari, anciently Scandarium or Skandarion in the northeast; Cape Lacter or Lakter in the south; and Cape Drecanum or Drekanon in the west.

In addition to the main town and port, also called Kos, the main villages of Kos island are KardamenaKefalosTingakiAntimachiaMastihariMarmari and Pyli. Smaller ones are ZiaZipariPlataniLagoudi and Asfendiou.

Kos is a Greek island in the Aegean. It has a population of 33,388 inhabitants (2011 census) and is the third largest island of the Dodecanese in area after Rhodes and Karpathos and the second largest in population after Rhodes. The surface of the island is 295.3 sq.km. with a coastline of 112 km. The capital of the island is Kos, where it is the main port of the island. It is 200 nautical miles from Piraeus.

It is an island rich in historical monuments and is of remarkable archeological and tourist interest. It is also called the "island of Hippocrates", the father of medicine, because Hippocrates was born there. Today's Kos is a modern tourist island with many possibilities in terms of accommodation, food, sports, excursions, entertainment. The most remarkable element that characterizes the island are the endless bike lanes, which is why very often Kos is characterized as the island of the bicycle.

The ruins of the ancient city along with the Hellenistic and Roman buildings near the port: In this area there are parts of the Ancient Agora (4th - 3rd century BC), the Great Stoa (Arch of the Tax) and other smaller galleries with sanctuaries dedicated to Dionysus, Aphrodite and Hercules. Inside the city the Conservatory (3rd century BC) well preserved with 12 stands and vaulted galleries, the Casa Romana restored Roman mansion with magnificent mosaics. Also the Xysto (part of the Gymnasium) (2nd century BC) with sixteen restored columns from the seventy that made it up in total, the two buildings that housed the Hellenistic and Roman baths and a part of the Roman street with marbles, mosaics and mosaics. Within the modern city is the Ancient Stadium of Kos at the intersection of 31st of March and Alexander the Great streets. The stadium is located in front of the chapel of Agia Anna (SW of the ruins of northern Therma) and belongs to the first half of the 2nd century BC. In the port of Kos is the Castle of Nerantzia and is the most important and best preserved castle on the island.

Archaeological Museum: Located in Eleftherias Square and includes a collection of prehistoric finds, Hellenistic sculptures and classic small statues of Aphrodite, Eros, Demeter, Hippocrates, inscriptions and mosaics with representations and architectural marble parts of temples and buildings.

The castle of the Knights: Built on the right side of the port, it is the most imposing monument of the Knights. It is kept in very good condition and is a classic example of imposing defense of its time. It has a double wall and a moat. It was built in the 15th c. but was completed in the 16th c ..

The plane tree of Hippocrates: A huge tree with a trunk circumference of about 12 meters. It is believed that under the shade of this tree Hippocrates taught Medicine to his students. A bridge connects the point, where the plane tree is located, with the Castle of the Knights.

The Asclepieion of Kos: It is the most famous point of Kos and began to be built in the 4th c. BC .. It is located 4 km from the city in a grove of cypress trees and was the largest sanatorium in Ancient Greece. From the temple of Asclepius only the foundations and a few columns survive, while columns also survive from the portico that is said to have housed the Medical School of Hippocrates. Nearby there were in ancient times hot springs with running thermal waters.

The Mosque of Lozia: It was built by Gazi Pasha in 1786. It is located next to the plane tree of Hippocrates. It consists of a spacious narthex and the main mosque.

Defterdar Mosque is located in Eleftherias Square and was named after Sultan Ibrahim Efendi, the Minister of Finance who built it in 1780.

Old Gate. Three kilometers southeast of the village of Pyli and about 17 km from the city of Kos, at an altitude of 300 meters, are the ruins of the medieval settlement 'Palio Pyli', also known as 'Mystras of the Dodecanese'. The Byzantine settlement, built in a natural fortified position and protected by a strong castle at the top of a steep hill, dates back to at least the 11th century AD. During the 15th century, when the Knights of St. John occupied the island, they maintained and strengthened the castle in order to strengthen the defense of the area. Many Byzantine churches are preserved in the settlement, among which the church of Ypapantis of the 14th century stands out. with a wood-carved iconostasis and columns from a pre-existing ancient temple as well as the temple of Taxiarches. The founder of the Holy Monastery of Patmos, Saint Christodoulos, originally founded here the Monastery of Kastriani, the katholikon of which survives to this day as the church of Ypapantis or Flevariotissa from the date of its celebration.
