Kimon Kaketsis is a destination wedding and elopement photographer based between Athens and Santorini, working across Greece, the Cyclades, and throughout Europe. With a background in fine art and a long-standing relationship with analogue photography, Kimon’s images carry a gentle sense of nostalgia without feeling staged. Film is not an aesthetic trend for him. It is part of his visual language, paired with a modern, reliable digital workflow. Nearly two decades in, Kimon’s approach is shaped as much by presence as by aesthetics. He connects easily, reads energy well, and creates an atmosphere where people relax into themselves. The photographs carry that feeling: unforced, intimate, and full of life. As a queer photographer and advocate for marriage equality, he understands the importance of safety and visibility. Every couple is met without assumption, and every story is approached with care. The work is polished and intentional, never stiff. Kimon is calm, organised, and decisive when it matters. His job is to protect the experience, then translate it into images that feel deeply personal, cinematic, and true.
